8thCommunity Wildlife Monitoring Program
7:00pm - 9:00pm, Birds and Frogs need your help like never before.They tell us a lot about the health of our wetlands in the Bay of Quinte area and need our protection. Join Quinte area naturalist Terry Sprague for his annual Community Wildlife Monitoring Program workshop and learn how easy it is to monitor frogs and wetland birds in your favourite marsh!  Two programs from which to choose –

27thFREE Child ID (Masonic C.H.I.P Program)
10:00am - 4:00pm,  A free program to record a child’s vital information to CD. Vital information, digital fingerprints, photos and video are burned to a CD. A dental bite impression is also taken. All information is given to the parent or guardian for safekeeping, and no records are kept. Should the need arise, it only take a few minutes from the time the CD is loaded on to a police computer for an Amber Alert to be broadcast.  Sponsored by Stirling Masonic Lodge #69, hosted by the Prince Edward District Masons.  Event held at St. Pauls United Church, 104 Church Street, Stirling.  For more inforamtion call Ross Nash 613-395-2979.

The Roseneath Carousel
2:00pm - 4:00pm  Ride an antique 1906 C.W. Parker Carousel . The carousel consists of 40 wooden horses and two boats.  A Wurlitzer 125 Band Organ (with paper rolls) strikes up the music.  Roseneath Fair Grounds, 9109 County Road 45. The carousel is ONLY OPEN SUNDAYS from 2:00pm to 4:00pm until Thanksgiving weekend. For more information call 905-352-3778.
